"night hawks" Edward Hopper 1942

   Paul: he's engaged to Amber they are at Phillies dinner celebrating their engagement over a late night coffee so late its early morning. when they arrive there is a man already there talking to Tom the waiter. he looks at them as they enter and then continues with his conversation. he's thinking inside if she only knew his past she would have said no...  
   Amber: is with her fiancé Paul at Phillies dinner celebrating their engagement over a late night coffee so late its early morning. when they arrive there is a man already there talking to Tom the waiter. he looks at them as they enter and then continues with his conversation. she's screaming for joy inside because she's going to marry the man of her dreams finally!!  
  Tom: just got off his late night shift at the detectives station after declaring a file a cold case. he decides to grad a cup of coffee at his favorite old time dinner Phillies. he was there for about an hour when a young happy couple walked in looking as if they are celebrating some good news. he continues his conversation with Tom the waiter.
  Jeff: working another late night his usual Jeff a detective comes from work to grab some coffee to calm himself from his stressful life in the office. they have a conversation for a little bit then a young couple arrive looking happy as can be. he gets their orders and continues with his conversation with Jeff. Tom retires in 3weeks.
          Scene 1:on a dreary fall day in the city Paul, his fiancé Amber, and a detective named Tom were all at Phillies dinner. amber and Paul were there celebrating while Jeff was there after a long day at the office. tom took there orders and conversed with Jeff, a regular at Phillies.
1.tom- to Jeff: just declared another cold case file.
2.Jeff: same case you've been working on?
3.tom: yea, our leads all had a story and proof.
4.Jeff: sorry, you want your usual?
5.tom: yes please, thanks. (in walk amber and Paul)
6. Paul- to amber: I love you
7.amber: I love you too!!
8.Paul: where you want to sit babe?
9.amber: I don't care anywhere it doesn't make a difference to me.
10.Paul: at the bar?
11.amber: sure honey! (Jeff walks over)
12.Jeff- to the couple: hi, what would you two like?
13.amber: a coffee please
14.Paul: ill have a coffee too please, thank you.
15.jeff: ok coming right up. (he walks away to get their order)
16.amber: so when do you want to start planning the wedding!?
17.paul: as soon as you want its your day
18.amber: its our day (Jeff comes back with their order)
19.jeff: that'll be $5.50
